Newcombe Cottage is in Flamborough. It's a terraced house, one in the middle of a row. You can see a sliver of sea from the top floor.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. That's handy. The rating is 4 Star. It's been updated inside so it feels fresh.
The layout is a bit different. The two bedrooms are on the ground floor. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor. The stairs are standard, not too steep. There's a small enclosed courtyard out the back. It gets the sun in the morning.
The village centre is a five minute walk. There's a couple of shops, cafes, and pubs. The beach is about a ten minute walk. You can get to it through Danes Dyke, which is a nice bit of woodland right opposite the house.
Flamborough Head is the main thing here. The cliffs and the lighthouse are worth seeing. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB spot, is about a ten minute drive. The seabirds are impressive.
For a bigger day out, Scarborough is 40 minutes by car. Whitby is about an hour. The North York Moors are within an hour's drive too.
Facilities: it's got the basics covered. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. On site parking for one car. You can bring up to two dogs.
