Newcombe Cottage

Newcombe Cottage is in Flamborough. It's a mid-terrace house on three floors. You can see the sea from the front windows if you lean out a bit. It's about a ten minute walk down to the beach.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. The living room and the kitchen are up on the first floor. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The stairs are standard for a cottage like this: a bit steep and a bit narrow.

There's a small enclosed courtyard out the back. It gets the sun in the morning. Good for a coffee.

The village centre is a short walk away. There's a co-op, a couple of pubs that do food, and some cafes. The old lighthouse is there too. Danes Dyke nature reserve is practically opposite the house. That's a good path straight down to the beach.

Flamborough Head is a proper walk along the cliffs. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB reserve, is a few minutes drive away. You can see the puffins in season.

For a day out, Scarborough is about half an hour south. Whitby is about 45 minutes north. The North York Moors National Park is about a 40 minute drive inland.

The house has parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a high chair. It's a 4 Star rating, which we keep to. You can bring up to two dogs.
