Yorkshire Rose Holiday Lodge

This is Yorkshire Rose Holiday Lodge. It's in Sewerby, on the East Yorkshire coast. It's a detached lodge that sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and all on one level, so there are no steps inside. The doors are wide and it's suitable for wheelchairs.

The lodge is on the edge of a golf course, about 400 yards from the clubhouse. You can use their bar and restaurant. They have a gym too. If you're a golfer with a handicap, you get a discount on the course.

You can walk straight from the site onto the Sewerby Hall estate. It's a Georgian house with gardens and a small zoo. There's a path along the cliffs. You can get the land train from there into Bridlington.

Bridlington is about two miles south. It's a classic seaside town with a sandy beach and a harbour. There are shops and places to eat.

Walk north from the golf course and you're at Danes Dyke, which is a wooded nature reserve with paths down to the shore. Keep going and you'll reach Flamborough Head. The cliffs there are good for walking.

Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is a short drive away. It's famous for seabirds, especially puffins in season.

Scarborough and Whitby are further up the coast, each about a half hour drive. York is a good day out, just over an hour by car.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
