Craven House is in Bridlington's Old Town. It's a Georgian town house, Grade II listed. We finished renovating it in 2023. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is a bit different because it's old. You come in the front door to a hall. The kitchen and dining room are at the back. There's a walk-in pantry, which is original. One bedroom is on the ground floor, with a super king bed and a separate dressing room. Two of the bedrooms still have the original Georgian fireplaces.
The main living room is on the first floor. It has big Georgian windows, so it gets a lot of light. The staircase up to it is the original one. It's grand, but it's also quite steep, like most old houses. Just something to be aware of.
Outside, there's an enclosed courtyard at the back with seating. It's a sun trap in the morning.
The Old Town is right outside. There are independent shops and cafes. The South Beach is about a ten minute walk. You can see the fishing boats coming in. Flamborough village and its cliffs are a short drive up the coast.
If you want to go further out, Sewerby Hall is nearby. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs are about fifteen minutes by car. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking. Beverley and York are both under an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's bicycle storage. You can bring up to two dogs.
