Craven House is in Bridlington Old Town. It's a big Georgian townhouse, sleeps eight. We finished doing it up last year but it's still got a lot of the old features.
You come in at street level. The kitchen is down the hall, it's been done to make the most of the space. There's still the original walk-in pantry. There's a bedroom on that floor too, with a super king bed and its own dressing room.
The main living room is on the first floor, up a proper staircase. It's a good size and gets a lot of light from the big windows. Two more bedrooms are on that floor, one is a family room. Two of the bedrooms have the old fireplaces still.
Out the back there's a courtyard with some seating. It gets the sun in the morning.
The house has a 4 Star rating. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower. We include all bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them, and space to store bikes.
Location wise, you're right in the Old Town. Plenty of cafes and shops on the doorstep. The South Beach is about a ten minute walk. You can see the fishing boats come in.
Flamborough Head is a short drive up the coast. Good for walks and the RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is up there if you like seabirds. There's a local golf course.
For days out, Sewerby Hall is close, and Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House aren't far. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking or cycling. You can get to Beverley or York in under an hour.
