South Side Apartment

South Side Apartment is a first-floor flat in Bridlington town centre, above a fish and chip restaurant. It’s a big place, sleeps ten in five bedrooms. You get one parking space right outside.

It’s a 4 Star property, so it’s well looked after and comfortable. The main thing is the view. You have big bay windows and a large balcony looking straight out over the North Beach and the sea. You see the boats going in and out of the harbour. On a rough day, you can watch the waves from inside.

The living space is open plan, which is good for groups. There’s a kitchen, a dining area that seats everyone, and a lounge. Because it’s an old building, the ceilings are high, so it feels spacious.

There are two bathrooms. One has a bath, the other a shower. Three of the bedrooms have twin beds, the other two are doubles.

Location-wise, you can’t get much more central. The beach and promenade are about 100 yards away. The Spa Theatre is right opposite. There’s a pub 100 yards away and shops 200 yards away. You park the car and don’t really need it again unless you’re going further out.

Locally, the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about a fifteen-minute drive. You can see puffins and gannets there. The cliff coastline is good for walking.

Within half an hour, you can drive to Scarborough. They’ve got the Sea Life Centre and the Alpamare water park there.

For facilities: bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a TV. The parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
