Garden Cottage is in Bridlington Old Town. It's a detached cottage that sleeps two people, just the one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not a luxury place.
The cottage has a patio garden. It looks out over the village green and the Bayle Museum, which is good for local history. The Priory Church is on the other side of the green. There's a pub and a restaurant about 200 yards away, and a shop a bit further on.
Bridlington seafront is about a mile and a half from here. It's your typical seaside, with a harbour, a sandy beach and a promenade. The Spa Theatre is on the seafront if you want a show.
Sewerby Hall is up the road. It's a Georgian house with gardens, a small zoo and walks. Further afield, you've got Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall within a half hour drive.
The coast is good for walking. Flamborough Head and Filey are both about a twenty minute drive. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is close, maybe ten minutes by car, if you want to see the seabirds.
York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a day trip to the city.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. The electricity is covered in the price. No pets.
