Percheron Cottage
Percheron Cottage is on our farm, Marton Manor. It's one of six cottages we made from the old barns.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star cottage. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The living area is open plan.
You're on a working farm. There's a farm shop and cafe here, and a petting area for kids. The animals are usually around. There's a big shared field out front and a kids' play area.
The location is good. You're about a mile from the coast at Sewerby. Sewerby Hall is just down the road. You can walk the cliff tops from there into Bridlington, or get the land train. Bridlington has two beaches and the harbour.
Flamborough Head is ten minutes north. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB reserve, is about fifteen minutes away. It's famous for the seabirds, especially puffins in season. Filey and Scarborough are within half an hour's drive south.
Inland, you've got the Yorkshire Wolds. Great for walks. Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are both about twenty minutes away by car if you like big houses and gardens.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's bike storage and parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
