Ardennes Cottage
Ardennes Cottage is on our working farm, just outside Bridlington. It's one of six we made from the old farm buildings. We've named them all after horse breeds.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The layout is open-plan downstairs.
You're welcome to bring one dog. We've got a stairgate and a cot available if you need them. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
On site, there's a farm shop and cafe. The petting area is popular if you have kids. There's also a shared one-acre field and a playground out front.
The local pub is about five minutes' walk away. They do food. The coast is about a mile. You can walk down the lane to Sewerby Hall. It's a Georgian house with gardens, right on the clifftop. You can get a little land train from there into Bridlington.
Bridlington has two big beaches and a harbour. If you head north up the coast, Flamborough is close. Filey and Scarborough are within half an hour. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes by car. You can see thousands of seabirds there, including puffins in season.
Inland, the Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking. Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are both about a twenty-minute drive. They're good for a day out.
