West Lodge is in Bridlington. It's a detached bungalow on a quiet street, about a five minute drive from the beach.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finishes are good. Because it's a bungalow, most of it is on one level, which is handy. The entrance is wheelchair friendly.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden. There's a patio, a bit of lawn, and a private hot tub.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site.
The beach is the main thing. North Beach is a short drive away. Classic seaside stuff: fish and chips, sand, the land train into town. The harbour does boat trips if you want to go out on the water.
For a day out, Sewerby Hall is close by. It's a Georgian house with gardens. There's pitch and putt golf there too. Bridlington Leisure Centre has a swimming pool with slides if the weather's bad.
The coast around here is good for walking. Flamborough Head and the lighthouse, Danes Dyke, Bempton Cliffs. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is worth it if you like seabirds.
Further afield, you can get to York or Hull in under an hour. The Yorkshire Wolds and Moors are a bit of a drive but doable for a day.
