Linden Manor is a new house, built in 2022. It's in Bridlington, down a private drive off one of the main streets into town. It's detached, so no one right next to you.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Three of those have their own bathrooms. The main bedroom has a freestanding bath in it, which is a bit unusual but quite handy. There's another proper bathroom in the hall as well.
Downstairs is pretty much one big open room: kitchen, dining area, and living space all together. The back wall is sliding glass doors that go out to the garden. It's enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. The kitchen has all the usual stuff plus a coffee machine and a wine cooler.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and the finish is high spec. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
You can walk to the North Beach in about ten minutes. The harbour's there too, where you can get boat trips or just watch the boats. The land train from the beach takes you into the town centre if you don't fancy the walk.
The closest big attraction is probably Sewerby Hall. The gardens are nice and there's a pitch and putt golf course. For a serious walk, the cliff path from Flamborough Head is brilliant, especially at Bempton Cliffs if you like seabirds.
Scarborough is about half an hour's drive south. York is an hour west, and Hull is about 45 minutes south. Both have plenty of museums and that.
For facilities: it's got the basics like a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the drive for a couple of cars.
