This is Arthur's Place. It's in Primrose Valley, which is part of that big holiday park called The Bay, just outside Filey. It's a mid-terraced townhouse.
It sleeps six, but there are only two bedrooms. So that means bunk beds in one of them. Just so you know. There's one bathroom and a separate downstairs loo. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.
You're right on the edge of the park, so it's quiet. There's a small patio area out the back with a table. The garden isn't enclosed, so if you bring dogs you'd need to keep them on a lead outside.
Speaking of dogs, you can bring up to three. The park has a dog meadow, and it's a short walk to the beach from the house. The beach is dog friendly too.
On site, there's the John Paul Jones pub for food, a small coffee shop, and a pharmacy. The leisure complex has an indoor pool, a gym, and a sauna. In summer there's putting and tennis. You get a pass for the pool included.
Filey is about a twenty minute walk along the beach. It's a proper old fashioned seaside town. Nice fish and chips. Further along the coast, Flamborough Head is worth a drive for the cliffs. The RSPB site at Bempton is about ten minutes from Flamborough if you like puffins.
Facilities in the house: wifi, smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
For planning, the North York Moors National Park website is good, and Welcome to Yorkshire has general information.
