Owls Rest
Owls Rest is one of six cottages in the yard at Killerby Old Hall. We live on site. The cottage sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden is yours and it's enclosed. There's a patio with furniture. And there's a shared indoor heated swimming pool on site that you can book slots for.
It's about a mile and a half to Cayton Bay beach. The village of Cayton is a short walk, maybe ten minutes. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there.
Scarborough is about four miles up the road for all your shops. Filey is a similar distance the other way. The Cleveland Way path is accessible along the coast if you're walking. For birdwatchers, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a 20-minute drive.
Further out, you can be in Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay in under 45 minutes. The North York Moors Railway starts at Pickering, which is about half an hour away. North York Moors National Park has good information for drives and walks.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
