Town House I
Town House I is on North Marine Road in Scarborough. It's one of a pair of houses. It sleeps twelve, six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a TV. That's handy with a big group. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well appointed.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's an enclosed courtyard at the back with a hot tub in its own sheltered bit. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
You're about a five minute walk from the North Bay beach. The town centre and the big indoor shopping centre are about the same distance the other way. There's a shop 200 yards away, a pub 400 yards. Plenty of restaurants and bars around if you want a night out.
Just around the corner is the Scarborough cricket ground. For walking, you can follow Marine Drive all the way from the North to the South Bay. It's flat. Peasholm Park is on the way to the beach, with its lake and model boat battles in summer. The North Bay has the Sea Life Centre and the open air theatre. The South Bay is the classic seaside, with amusements and donkey rides.
Further out, you're about half an hour from the North York Moors and Whitby. Filey and Flamborough Head are in the other direction, about twenty minutes by car. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is there for the puffins. York is about an hour's drive.
For facilities, it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It's a pet-friendly property, up to two dogs.
