Town House I

Town House I is in Scarborough, on the north side of town. It's a big place, sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom.

It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is included, like bedding and towels. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.

All the bedrooms have TVs. Outside, in the courtyard, there's a hot tub. It's in its own enclosed bit so it's private. The garden is enclosed too.

You can take two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

Location-wise, you're about a ten minute walk from North Bay beach. It's the quieter one. The town centre and the shops are maybe five minutes in the other direction. There's a pub about 400 yards away.

A couple of things right nearby: Scarborough cricket ground is just around the corner. And on the way to the beach you pass Peasholm Park. It's got lakes and gardens, you can hire a boat, and in the summer they do the model naval battles on the water. Kids tend to like it.

Scarborough has two bays. North Bay is calmer. South Bay is the classic seaside with arcades and donkey rides. You can walk the full length between them on Marine Drive, it's flat all the way. The castle is on the headland between the two.

Further along the coast, within half an hour, you've got Filey and the RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, where you can see puffins. The North York Moors are about the same drive north. Whitby is under forty minutes away.

Useful links if you're planning trips: North York Moors National Park, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, and English Heritage for Scarborough Castle.

If you've got a bigger group, you can book this house together with the one next door, Town House II. Together they sleep twenty-four.
