The lodge is called Wood View. It's in Cloughton, just north of Scarborough. It's detached and looks out over woods.
It's for two people. One bedroom with its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one level and it's wheelchair accessible, with a ramp at the door.
You've got your own patio with a barbecue. There's parking right outside and an electric car charger. Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The woods opposite are part of an old Bronze Age settlement site. For a walk, you can go down through the woods to Hayburn Wyke. It's about a twenty minute walk. There's a pebbled beach there and a small twin waterfall. The Cleveland Way coastal path is also close.
There are two pubs within walking distance. The closest is about a hundred metres, the other is up the road. Both do food.
Scarborough is about ten minutes by car. That's where you'll find the Sea Life Centre, Alpamare Water Park, and the beach at North Bay. Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes in the other direction.
