Princess Lodge is in Scarborough old town. It's a big, tall house that used to have a chemist's shop on the ground floor a long time ago. It sleeps ten people.
There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The stairs are steep.
You're about five minutes' walk from the actual beach on South Bay. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants all within a few hundred yards.
The house has a woodburning stove, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Scarborough itself has the usual seaside stuff. Two beaches, a long promenade, an open air theatre with big shows in summer. Peasholm Park is good for a wander.
If you want to explore, you can drive to Filey, Whitby or Bridlington quite easily. The North York Moors are close by. York is less than an hour away by car or train.
