Wellington Place is in Scarborough, just a little way back from the sea. It's a Victorian terrace house. The outside looks much like the others on the street, which I like. It's not trying to stand out.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The kitchen is a proper galley kitchen, so it's narrow but it has everything you need. The door from there leads to a small yard, which is fenced in.
You're about a ten minute walk from either of the bays. North Bay is quieter. South Bay has the arcades and the fair. The castle headland is in the middle. The Marine Drive is good for a long walk along the front, whatever the weather.
Scarborough has the usual things, like a waterpark with a wave pool. There's a golf course nearby. The train station is useful if you don't want to drive. You can get a direct train to York, which takes about fifty minutes. York Minster is there, and the Railway Museum is free.
A short drive up the coast is RSPB Bempton Cliffs. You can see the seabirds on the cliffs, puffins in the season. Further down the coast, the North York Moors are about half an hour's drive for a change of scenery.
Included is a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are there for you. There's a woodburning stove in the front room. You can bring up to two dogs. The local pub is about a ten minute walk.
