Wellington Place
Wellington Place is a house in Scarborough. It's an end-terrace Victorian place, so the walls are thick and the ceilings are high. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. One bathroom, it's a shower room. There's a kingsize bed on the first floor, then a double and a twin room up on the top floor. Those top-floor stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
You're sort of in the middle between the two bays. It's about a ten minute walk to the beach, either way. North Bay is quieter. South Bay has the arcades and the fairground stuff. The Marine Drive is good for a long walk along the front.
The living room is at the front with a wood burner. There's a separate dining room with a big table. The kitchen is a galley, it's narrow but it has what you need. The door leads out to a small enclosed yard.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car out front on the street.
For days out, the RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is about half an hour by car if you like seabirds. You can get the train straight to York from here, it's easier than driving. York has the Minster and the Railway Museum.
