Sea Fever is a house on the edge of Scarborough, about a ten minute walk from North Bay. It's got a long private driveway so you can park right by the front door.
The house sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are a normal pitch.
Downstairs, there's a living room at the front with a wood burner. The kitchen is at the back of the house with a table and chairs, and French doors out to the garden. There's a separate utility room next to the kitchen, which is handy for wet coats or washing. There's also a toilet on the ground floor.
The garden is enclosed. It's got a lawn, flower beds, and a summerhouse with seats in it. It's a quiet spot.
You can walk to North Bay beach in about ten minutes. It's a sandy beach with beach huts. From there, you can walk along the promenade all the way to the South Bay, which is busier and has the castle, funfair, and theatre. Peasholm Park is nearby, with its lake and gardens.
For a bigger day out, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are both about a half hour drive up the coast. The North York Moors National Park is about twenty minutes inland if you want to go walking.
The house has the things you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
