Sea Blue Cottage
Sea Blue Cottage is in Scarborough, right by the seafront. It's about 30 seconds to the sand. The property is a couple of hundred years old but we've done it up.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 star rating. It's open plan downstairs, which works well for a small group. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, just so you know. We include all the bedding and towels.
You're right between the two bays. South Bay is to your left with the arcades and donkey rides. North Bay is to your right, it's quieter and has a longer promenade for walking. The Sea Life Centre is up that way.
The town centre is a five minute walk. There's a supermarket, pubs, and the usual cafes. The castle is up on the headland. It's run by English Heritage. The views from there are very good.
Facilities wise, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
For walks, the Cleveland Way coastal path starts nearby. You can walk to Filey Brigg from here if you're feeling energetic. The North York Moors are about a 30 minute drive inland if you want a change from the coast.
