Sea Blue Cottage
Sea Blue Cottage is in Scarborough, on Eastborough. It's a terraced house right by the South Bay beach. You can see a bit of the sea from the front living room window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been recently done up inside so it feels fresh. The kitchen is open plan with the living area.
The stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
You're about thirty seconds from the sand. For a quieter beach, the North Bay is a fifteen minute walk along the front. The Sea Life Centre is up that end. The castle is on the headland in the middle.
The town centre shops are a couple of minutes' walk away. There's a pub just round the corner. The front has all the usual seaside things - amusement arcades, fish and chip shops, that sort of thing.
Facilities: we've included bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
If you're driving out, the North York Moors are about half an hour away. Whitby is twenty five minutes up the coast. For local information, North York Moors National Park and English Heritage for Scarborough Castle are useful.
