Ryndle Corner is a big detached house in Scarborough. It sleeps fourteen, so it's for big groups or a few families. There are seven bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cleaned with eco products, if that matters to you.
The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over Peasholm Park. You can see it from the front windows. It's a good park, with a lake and gardens. They do a miniature naval battle there in the summer, which is a bit different. There's a pitch and putt course and you can hire boats.
You're about a ten minute walk from the North Bay beach. It's sandy and usually quiet. The waterpark, Alpamare, is just down the hill, maybe a ten minute walk. The Open Air Theatre is nearby too, for summer concerts.
Scarborough has two bays. North Bay, where you are, is the quieter one. South Bay has the amusement arcades and is busier. The castle is in the middle. The Stephen Joseph Theatre is in town if you want a play.
You can walk part of the Cleveland Way along the coast from here. For a drive, the North York Moors are close. Whitby is about forty minutes away. Bridlington and Flamborough Head are within an hour. Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB spot where you can see seabirds like puffins.
In the house, the dining room has two tables so everyone can eat together. The garden is enclosed. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
There's a shop and a pub about five minutes walk away. A few restaurants are a bit further.
