Oaklands View
Oaklands View is a flat on the second floor in Scarborough, on the South Cliff. It looks out over the castle and the bay. You can sit by the window and watch the boats.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're right on the cliff top. To get down to the beach, you can walk through the Italian Gardens, or you can use the cliff lift. It's a Victorian funicular and it saves your legs on the way back up.
The flat is next to the Crown Spa Hotel. You can pay to use their spa and swimming pool, which is handy if the weather's not great.
Everything is close by. There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants about 200 yards away. The seafront has the usual pier, amusements, and fish and chip shops. The Stephen Joseph Theatre is a short walk if you want to see a play.
For a day out, Whitby is about 40 minutes north. Filey and Flamborough Head are to the south. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is about half an hour's drive. York is around an hour away by car or direct train.
In the flat, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
