Redwood
Redwood is one of six cottages at Killerby Old Hall. It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and things work.
The cottages are set around a courtyard. There's a patio area for sitting outside. The owners live on site. The main shared facility is an indoor heated swimming pool, which you can book slots for. There's parking right here.
You're in Killerby, which is a quiet spot. The village of Cayton is about a 500 yard walk away. It has a couple of pubs, a shop, and a post office.
The coast is close. Cayton Bay beach is less than two miles away. It's a good spot for surfing. Filey is a few miles north, Scarborough a few miles south. They both have different things going on. Filey's got a gentler, traditional promenade. Scarborough is bigger and busier.
If you want to go inland, the North York Moors aren't far. Pickering is a market town where you can catch the steam railway. Dalby Forest is nearby for walking or mountain biking.
Further out, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are great for a day trip, maybe 45 minutes by car. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a city day.
Inside, it's got the things you'd need: a TV, wifi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed, sorry.
