The Parade Apartment
The Parade Apartment is a first-floor flat on The Bay holiday complex in Primrose Valley, near Filey. It’s for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so everything’s in good order.
The main thing is you get to use all the stuff on-site. There’s a big heated indoor pool, a gym, tennis courts, a café, and a pub that does meals. You can walk along the beach from the complex into Filey itself, or there’s a bus. The beach is about a ten-minute walk.
The flat itself is open plan, with the living area and kitchen together. It’s got a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi and TV are included. All the bedding and towels are provided. We can leave a cot if you need one. You can bring up to two dogs.
Filey is a proper seaside town. It’s got a big supermarket, shops, and places to eat. For a day out, the RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is just along the coast. You can see puffins there in season. Scarborough, Bridlington, and Whitby are all within about half an hour’s drive.
If you like walking, you’re right between the coast and the countryside. The North York Moors aren’t far. For planning, the North York Moors National Park website is useful, as is the RSPB page for Bempton Cliffs.
