The Nest is an apartment at number 9 The Landings. It's in Filey. You're about 50 yards from the beach here, which is a long stretch of sand about five miles long.
It sleeps four. There's one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, so it's best for a couple with kids, or two kids and two adults. One bathroom, en-suite with the bedroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and has what you need, but it's not luxurious.
The building is set back from the main road, so it's quieter than some places. You can hear the sea if it's a windy night.
There's a shop and a couple of places to eat about 200 yards away. The beach is the main thing. You can walk north to Filey Brigg, which is a rocky outcrop. To the south, the beach leads towards the cliffs at Bempton, which is an RSPB reserve.
If you want to drive out, Scarborough is about 15 minutes south. Bridlington is about 20 minutes south. Whitby is about 40 minutes north up the coast, past the cliffs. The North York Moors steam train picks up from Pickering, which is about half an hour inland. It goes to Whitby via Goathland.
For a longer day out, York is just over an hour's drive.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
