Wold View
Wold View is in Filey, just outside the town itself. It's a single-storey place, so everything's on one level which is handy.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. That's unusual and quite useful, I think. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is part of a pair of cottages that are identical. You get your own bit of garden, and the whole site has about two acres of shared grounds with a mix of lawn and more natural bits.
Filey is about a mile away. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is sandy and good for families. The Brigg is a big rocky headland you can walk out to. There's a fishing festival and a scarecrow festival in the summer.
Scarborough is about six miles up the coast if you want more going on: theatres, more shops, that sort of thing.
You're well placed for driving out to the North York Moors. It's about half an hour to get into the National Park. There are lots of historic places like Rievaulx Abbey within a 30 minute drive too.
For facilities, you've got pretty much everything: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Parking right outside. It's got a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs as well.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile down the road.
