Wold View is up on the hill just outside Filey. It's one of a pair of single-storey cottages, so everything's on the ground floor. No stairs to worry about. They've got about two acres of gardens between them, partly landscaped, partly just fields. It's peaceful.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with a shower, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Filey's about a mile down the hill. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is good, long and sandy. Filey Brigg is the rocky headland at the end, good for a walk. There's a shop and a pub in the village about a mile away.
Scarborough is six miles south if you want more going on: shops, the theatre, another big beach. The North York Moors National Park is straight inland. You can be up on the moors in about twenty minutes driving. There are a lot of historic places around too, like Whitby Abbey or Castle Howard.
For facilities: there's parking right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. The garden is enclosed. We include all bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs.
