The Bait Shed is in the middle of Filey. It used to be a fisherman's workshop. We've turned it into a house. It's detached, so no one sharing the walls.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern, everything works. The living space is all open plan downstairs.
You're about five minutes from the beach. It's a long, sandy one. The town has what you need: a few shops, some cafes, a couple of pubs. One is 250 yards away.
You can walk to the local rock pools for fishing. For a bigger day out, Scarborough is eight miles south. They've got the Sea Life Centre and Peasholm Park. Bridlington is about the same distance the other way.
The North York Moors are straight inland. You can drive up into the National Park in under half an hour. The coast road north, towards Flamborough, is part of the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. It's good for driving or walking.
What's here: a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. There's a stairgate fitted. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, the North York Moors National Park site has walking routes.
