Say Shells
Say Shells is in Filey. It's on a side street, so it's quiet, but you're right in the town.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom's fine, but the ceiling slopes in a couple of places, so mind your head if you're tall. It's got a four star rating.
Downstairs, there's a sitting room at the front. The kitchen is at the back and it's new. A set of french doors lead from the lounge into a dining room. There's a small patio garden out the back with a barbecue. You can store bikes there.
Parking is on site, which is a help in Filey. It's all on one level to get inside, so that's useful. We allow up to two dogs.
You're a few minutes' walk from everything. The beach is less than ten minutes away. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walking. The town has the usual seaside shops, cafes, and pubs. There's a couple of supermarkets close by if you need them.
If you want to explore, the coast road goes up to Scarborough or down to Bridlington. The North York Moors are about half an hour's drive west. For a day out, you've got places like Burton Agnes Hall or Scarborough Castle within a reasonable drive.
Everything's included: bedding, towels, wifi, electricity. There's a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
