Magpie Cottage
Magpie Cottage is in Filey. It's a single-storey bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. You get two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It sleeps four. We accept up to two dogs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's not huge, but it's got what you need. The garden is shared with one other identical cottage, but it's a big space, two acres mostly. You'll have your own patio area.
Inside, there's a decent kitchen with a dishwasher, a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You're about a mile from the centre of Filey. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is sandy and stretches for miles. Filey Brigg is the rocky headland you can walk out to. There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in the other direction.
Scarborough is fifteen minutes down the coast by car. They've got all the things a bigger town has: theatres, more shops, an outdoor swimming pool.
The North York Moors National Park is on your doorstep for walking. Places like Whitby, with the abbey, and a lot of the coastal castles are within half an hour's drive. For more ideas, Welcome to Yorkshire is a good place to start.
