Middleton House

It's Middleton House, in Filey. A terraced house, sleeps six. Three bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and everything works.

Inside, there's a decent-sized separate dining room. And the living room has a multi-fuel stove. It’s not a huge hearth, but it puts out a good bit of heat.

The beach is about five minutes walk. It's a proper long, sandy beach. Never seems crowded, even in summer. Good for dogs, families, just walking. The promenade is nice for that too.

Everything you need day-to-day is close. A shop about 200 yards, a pub at 150 yards, and a few places to eat within a few minutes walk. There’s a supermarket nearby as well. The train station is handy if you don't want to drive to Scarborough or Bridlington.

If you like birdwatching, Bempton Cliffs RSPB is just along the coast. You can see puffins there. The link is below.

Further out, York is about an hour's drive. It's a full day out, but worth it if you've never been. Lots of history, museums, that sort of thing.

In terms of what's here: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a small patio out the back.

A couple of useful links for planning: RSPB Bempton Cliffs and North York Moors National Park. The park is about half an hour's drive inland if you fancy a change from the coast.
