Middleton House

Middleton House is in Filey. It's a terraced house on a normal street, not right on the seafront. You're about five minutes from the beach.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating so it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a show home. The living room has a multi-fuel burner, which is nice when it's cold. There's a separate dining room, which is quite big. You get a patio garden out the back.

The beach here is miles of sand. It's very flat and good for families and walking dogs. It never feels too crowded, even in summer. You can walk there in about ten minutes.

There's a shop about 200 yards away for basics. A pub is 150 yards and a restaurant about 300 yards. The train station is close too, with regular services to Scarborough and Bridlington if you don't want to drive.

Just up the coast is the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs. You can see puffins and other seabirds on the cliffs. It's about a ten minute drive.

If you want to go further, York is roughly an hour's drive. It's got the Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre, among other things.

What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's a standard terraced house inside so there are steps to the garden and the usual things. You can bring up to two dogs.
