Carr House

Carr House is a farmhouse on our working farm. Aylesbuty Farm, to be specific. It's detached and sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a rating of 4 Star, which is accurate. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not just basic.

The garden is a big feature. It's fully enclosed, which is good for kids and dogs. There are apple trees, a barbecue, and a summerhouse. It's a nice spot.

You're on a farm, so you'll see and hear farm things. Tractors, animals, the usual. It's not remote though. The local shop is about three quarters of a mile away, the pub is a mile.

Scarborough is just a few minutes' drive. It's got all the seaside stuff. Amusements, the castle, the Spa, theatre. The beach at Cayton Bay is about a mile and a half away. Good for surfing and dogs are allowed all year.

If you want to explore, you're in a good spot. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are north, Filey and Bridlington are south. Inland, the North York Moors are about half an hour away. Dalby Forest is good for bikes and walks. Pickering and the steam railway are also close. York is under an hour's drive.

Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, woodburner. WiFi, TV, parking. It's wheelchair accessible with grab rails and a seat in the shower. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
