Twin Bays House is on Castle Road in Scarborough, right under the castle. It's a tall Georgian house, so the views are pretty much the whole point. You can see both the North and South Bays from most of the windows.
It sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is quite grand, with a raised bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. The house is listed, so the stairs are the original, fairly steep ones. Something to be aware of.
There's a clifftop garden at the back with a hot tub. It looks straight out over North Bay and the castle. You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. The beach is about ten.
Scarborough's all there. The harbour, the Spa, the Open Air Theatre, the shops. The Stephen Joseph Theatre does a lot of Alan Ayckbourn's plays. For a proper trip out, the North York Moors are about half an hour's drive. So is the heritage coast, like Robin Hood's Bay.
In the house you've got the basics included: WiFi, parking, a washing machine, bedding and towels. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
