Mulgrave Cottage is in Scalby, just outside Scarborough. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's handy if you don't fancy stairs. It's one of a group of cottages up on the cliffs.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well looked after. There's an open plan living area, a wood burning stove, and a patio with an enclosed garden. You can park right outside and there's an electric vehicle charger.
The location is the main thing. You're a few minutes' drive from Scarborough itself, or a decent walk if you're up for it. The Cleveland Way path runs right along the cliffs here for walking. The beach at Scalby Ness is rocky, but it's quiet. For sand, you'd go into Scarborough for the North or South Bay.
Scarborough has the usual seaside things: the castle, the theatre, shops, and chip shops. The Open Air Theatre gets big names. Whitby is about half an hour north if you want to see the Abbey or get fish and chips. The steam train from Pickering to Whitby is a good day out, it goes right through the moors.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
