Esplanade Crescent is an apartment on the second floor. It's on the South Cliff, looking out to sea.
It's big. Three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps six easily. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and well-kept but not luxurious.
The best thing is the parking. There's no restriction, so you can park right outside on the road for free. You usually get a space.
You're just around the corner from the Italian Gardens. It's a nice walk down from there to the Spa and the seafront. The Scarborough Spa puts on shows and events, it's a proper old building.
The marine drive is flat and goes for miles along the coast, past both bays. You can walk it or get the open-top bus back.
Scarborough has plenty of places to eat and drink. There's the open-air theatre in summer and the Stephen Joseph Theatre in town.
If you drive, Filey and Bridlington aren't far. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about half an hour away for the birds and the views.
York is an hour by car, or you can get the train straight into the centre. It's a good day out.
For walks, the North York Moors National Park starts about 30 minutes inland.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
