Trueman is a cottage in Gristhorpe. It's one of a small group of holiday lets near Filey. It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The place has a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home. The layout is open plan downstairs. Everything you'd expect is there: a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a private patio area with a barbecue. There's also a shared lawn out front. The whole site has a games room and a play area for children. Parking is right there.
The local pub is about a mile's walk down the lane. It's a proper village pub. For shops, you'll need to go into Filey, which is about three miles away.
Filey beach is good. It's a long, sandy beach with the Brigg at the end, which is a rocky headland. It's all part of the Yorkshire coast, which is great for walking. The Visit Yorkshire site has good information.
If you want to explore, the North York Moors National Park starts not far inland. You can drive up to Whitby in about half an hour. It's a fishing port with a ruined abbey. Scarborough is about twenty minutes south.
No pets, sorry.
