Trueman is one of the cottages at Filey Holiday Cottages in Gristhorpe. It's about three miles from Filey itself.
The cottage sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Everything you need is there.
You share a big lawn at the front with the other cottages. There's also a games room and a kids' play area on site that everyone can use. It's a quiet spot, looking out over fields. The local pub is about a mile's walk away.
Filey is a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is sandy and long, good for a walk or just sitting. The Brigg is a big rocky bit at the end. If you like walking, the Cleveland Way path runs right along the cliff top there.
For a day out, Scarborough is about ten minutes south by car. Whitby is maybe forty minutes north. The North York Moors are right on your doorstep for driving or walking. The North York Moors National Park website has good maps and ideas.
In terms of what's here, it's got parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's no BBQ listed in the facilities for this one, so I'd check if that's important to you. Sorry, no pets.
