Apartment 5 is a holiday flat in Filey. It's a few minutes' walk from the beach, which goes on for miles. The main thing is the location.
It's a two-bedroom flat, sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so you know it's clean and everything works, but it's not high-end. It's comfortable. It's open plan.
You're right in the town. There's a shop and a couple of places to eat about 200 yards away. The beach is about 50 yards. It's a proper sandy beach, not pebbles.
Filey itself is quite traditional, hasn't changed too much. You're protected by Filey Brigg, which is that rocky headland you can walk out to. That walk gives you great views back towards Bempton Cliffs, where the seabirds are.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Scarborough or Bridlington. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes. You can get to the North York Moors easily. The steam railway from Pickering is a good day out.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
