Park Farm Cottage

There's a pub about a three minute walk away. It's popular locally and does food. The nearest shop is about a mile.
The location is good for a few different things. Filey beach is about five miles. It's a proper sandy beach, quieter than Scarborough. For walking, the Wolds Way path goes right past the village. The landscape around here is nice rolling countryside, the Yorkshire Wolds.
You can drive to the North York Moors or the coast quite easily. For market towns, Malton is close. Pickering, Beverley and Driffield aren't far either. York is less than an hour's drive.
If you've got kids, Flamingo Land theme park is nearby. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is worth a trip for the seabirds, even if you're not a serious birdwatcher.
At the cottage, there's a woodburning stove for colder nights. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
