Brompton Lodge is in Potter Brompton, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. It's a detached house with its own garden. It sleeps nine people.
There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It’s spacious and well equipped, but it's not a fancy modern place.
The main thing is it has its own indoor heated swimming pool. It's just there in the house. It’s a good size.
For facilities, you've got the pool, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We allow up to two dogs.
The village has a local pub and a farm shop. There's another farm shop a mile away. The nearest proper supermarket is about three miles off.
For days out, the North Yorkshire coast is about ten miles east. Filey has a long sandy beach. Scarborough is a bit further, with all the usual resort things. Whitby is about half an hour's drive north. The ruins of Whitby Abbey are worth seeing.
Inland, the market town of Malton is close. Castle Howard is a grand house and grounds about five miles west. For steam trains, you can go to Pickering for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. York is about an hour's drive.
