Gunluk Cottage
Gunluk Cottage is in Brompton by Sawdon. It's one of a few cottages on our working farm. The views over the fields are good and it's quiet here.
The cottage sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is from the 1800s, so the walls are thick and the doors are sometimes a bit low in places.
You're on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. It's about a 30 minute drive to the coast at Scarborough or Whitby. Whitby has the abbey and the Captain Cook connection. Pickering is close, where you can get the North York Moors Railway steam train. Thornton-le-Dale is a pretty village nearby.
Dalby Forest is about ten minutes by car. They've got cycle trails and walking paths there.
In the village, there's a shop a few minutes' walk away. The nearest pub is a couple of miles down the road.
As for facilities, it's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
