Pear Tree Farm Cottages
These are Pear Tree Farm Cottages. They're on our farm, just outside Ebberston village. They're converted stables. A couple each, basically. You get your own bit of garden. It's a quiet spot.
They sleep two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's all on the ground floor. They've got a 3 Star rating. That means they're comfortable and clean, not luxurious. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
The layout is open plan. There's a sofa, a table, and a kitchen area with a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are in there for you. We keep the parking right outside.
You can bring one dog. There's a bit of garden and the fields around to walk them.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. It serves food. The nearest shop is a mile away in the next village.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. The edge of the North York Moors is right there. Dalby Forest is close by for walking or cycling. Pickering is about seven miles. It's a market town, has the steam railway you can get to Goathland or Whitby. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Scarborough one way, Filey and Bridlington the other. Whitby is a bit further.
If you want to go into York, it's about 45 minutes by car.
