Willowfield Cottage

Willowfield Cottage is in Thornton le Dale. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It's got a five-star rating, which means it's well-equipped and looked after.

The layout is a bit different. There are two living rooms, each with its own wood burner. So you can have separate spaces if you want. The kitchen is modern and has a few extra things like a popcorn maker. The dining room has patio doors out to the garden.

Upstairs is a double bedroom and a bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle.

Outside, there's a garden with seating. The hot tub is heated by a wood-burning stove. It's a nice thing to have in the evening. Please note, if there's a hosepipe ban, the hot tub can't be used. There's also a sauna in the garden, but that's not for guest use.

You're right in the village, close to the shops, pubs, and tea rooms. It gets quite busy with visitors in the summer because it's a pretty spot.

For things to do, you're very close to North Yorkshire Moors Railway in Pickering. You can get a steam train to Whitby from there. Dalby Forest is a short drive away for walking or cycling. You can hire bikes in the village. Castle Howard and the Ryedale Folk Museum are also within easy reach. The coast at Scarborough or Filey is about half an hour's drive. York is about 40 minutes by car.

Facilities include parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, and an enclosed garden. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets.
