Horcum View
This is Horcum View. It's a bungalow in Lockton, on the edge of the moors. The views out the front are over the valley. You can sometimes hear the steam train from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway going past, which is quite nice.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. Everything's on the ground floor. The parking is right outside.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a wood burner for colder nights, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is a patio area. You can bring up to two dogs.
There's a pub in the village, about a mile's walk. It serves food. The nearest shop is in Pickering, about six miles away.
For things to do, the moors are right there. The steam train station is in Levisham, a couple of miles down the road. You can get on at Pickering. Whitby and the coast are about a thirty minute drive. Scarborough is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
