Ryburn House is in Thornton le Dale. It's a terraced cottage. The back garden is shared with the neighbour, which is another holiday let. It's a small, walled space with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and recently done up. The walls are thick, so it stays cool in summer. There's a wood burner for winter.
The stairs are steep. That's just how it is. The second bedroom is on its own floor up a second, even steeper flight. It's fine for most, but maybe not for someone with bad knees.
The village is very pretty. There's a stream and a duck pond. It gets busy with tourists in summer. There's a shop, a couple of cafes, and a pub all within a couple of minutes' walk.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. The walking from the door is excellent. For cycling or a drive, Dalby Forest is about ten minutes away. Pickering is three miles. You can get the steam train from there to Whitby.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, that sort of thing.
Facilities: it's got everything on your list. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
