Peasholm is a bungalow in Thornton le Dale. It's detached, so no one's on the other side of the wall. You get the whole garden, it's enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 3 Star. It's comfortable and clean. Because it's a bungalow, there are no stairs at all.
The position is up a bit, so you get a good view over the village rooftops and the fields beyond. It's a very pretty village. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat about 200 yards down the road.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Dalby Forest is about three miles away for walks and cycling. The moors themselves start just a few miles inland. Pickering is three miles, they've got the castle and the North York Moors Railway station there.
Scarborough is about 14 miles if you want the seaside and amusements. Flamingo Land is seven miles away. Whitby is 20 miles, so a bit further for a day out, but it's a proper fishing port with the abbey and everything.
Facilities: washing machine, bedding is included, parking. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
