New Meadows Cottage
This is New Meadows Cottage in Pickering. It's attached to our house. We're next door. So you're not isolated. The garden is shared, but you get your own private patio with a table and chairs.
It's all on one level. One bedroom, one bathroom. The shower is en-suite. It sleeps two and has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The living room has patio doors out to the garden. There's a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is small but has what you need: a two-ring hob, a countertop oven, microwave. You can cook basic meals.
You're welcome to bring dogs. Up to two. There are plenty of walks nearby and dog-friendly pubs in town.
Pickering town centre is about a 15 minute walk. Shops, pubs, cafes. You can get the North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train from there. It goes to Grosmont and Whitby.
For days out, you've got the North York Moors National Park right on the doorstep. Dalby Forest is close for walking or cycling. Whitby and Scarborough are about half an hour's drive if you want the coast. Flamingo Land is about 20 minutes away.
Included in the price: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
