Craven Bungalow is in Allerston, a quiet village near Pickering. It's a single-storey place, so everything is on the ground floor. It's for two people.
It's got one bedroom with a big bed, and a shower room. The living area has a wood burner, which works well but you need to buy your own logs. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
The bungalow is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has a walk-in shower. There's parking right outside, and a private patio area with a table and chairs.
There's a local pub in the village, about a ten minute walk. Thornton-le-Dale is just down the road, it's very pretty with a stream and a few shops.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. For walking, Dalby Forest is about seven miles away. The North York Moors National Park website has good information.
Pickering is five miles. It has the North York Moors Railway station. Going the other way, the coast at Scarborough is about half an hour's drive. York is about forty-five minutes.
Included in the price: bedding, towels, electricity, and wifi. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets.
