Rinstone Lodge
It's called Rinstone Lodge. It's on the edge of Thornton-le-Dale, which is a nice village in North Yorkshire. Right on the doorstep of the North York Moors.
It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's useful. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one king-size. There's one bathroom with a big walk-in shower. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and finished to a high standard. It feels new.
The main room is all open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and living space with a corner sofa. There's a wood burner for colder nights. The ceilings are high with some exposed beams. Doors lead straight out to your own enclosed garden. The hot tub is out there.
You're a couple of minutes' walk from the village centre. There are a couple of pubs, a shop, a bakery, that sort of thing. It's a quiet spot though, set back from the main road.
For getting out, you're well placed. Pickering is two miles away. That's where you get the North York Moors Railway steam trains. Dalby Forest is about ten minutes by car, good for walking and cycling. The coast is about half an hour: Scarborough one way, Whitby the other. York is about 45 minutes' drive if you fancy a city day. Flamingo Land is very close, just a few minutes down the road.
What's here: parking on site, including an electric car charger. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
