Bransdale
Bransdale is a cottage in Pickering. It's one of a few in a row, set back from the main road. You get a private, enclosed garden.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
Pickering is a proper market town. There's a supermarket, shops, and a few pubs all within a few minutes' walk. The local swimming pool is just up the road.
The main thing is the location. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. You can walk straight out onto the moors. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains run from the station in town.
Within half an hour you can get to plenty. Helmsley is a nice market town. The coast at Whitby or Scarborough is about a 30 minute drive. Dalby Forest is good for cycling or walking. For a big day out, York is about 40 minutes away.
In the cottage there's parking, a washing machine, a wood burner, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
