Box Tree Cottage

Box Tree Cottage is in Pickering, just off the market square. It's a terrace house, but it's got its own garden out the back. Sunny spot.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is nice in the evenings. The kitchen is big enough for a few people to be in there at once.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. There's a patio with a table and a bit of a pagoda thing for shade. Parking is right outside for one car.

You're about a minute's walk from the shops and pubs in Pickering. It's a proper market town. The castle is worth a look. The main thing is the steam railway station - you can get the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from there straight to Whitby. It's a great day out.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the Moors. Dalby Forest is about ten minutes drive, good for bikes and walks. The coast at Whitby or Scarborough is about half an hour away.

Inside, it's got the things you'd need: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the rest of the house has stairs. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
