The cottage is on the edge of the village. The garden looks out over a field. It's quiet.
The stairs are normal. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi and parking on site. The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Bedding and towels are included.
There's a pub and a tearoom in the village, about a ten minute walk away. The pub does food. Pickering is the nearest town, a couple of miles off. It's a market town, decent for shops.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors for walking. Dalby Forest is close by for cycling and walking trails. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train runs from Pickering to Whitby. It's a nice day out.
Malton is about twenty minutes drive. They call it a food town, with a market and some good places to eat. Castle Howard is in that direction too, it's a big stately home. Flamingo Land theme park is about ten minutes away by car.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. Scarborough, Filey, things like that.
No pets, sorry.
