Keldholme Cottage 1
Keldholme Cottage 1 is in Keldholme, which is a small hamlet. It's a stone terraced property, one of two here. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors.

The garden is large but it's shared with the other cottage. You get your own patio bit with a table and chairs. The garden looks out over a field with horses in it.
Inside, there's a country style kitchen with the dining table in it. Then a living room at the front with a wood burner. The stairs are typical cottage stairs. They're fine, but they are a bit steep and narrow.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's bicycle storage if you need it.
Kirkbymoorside is less than a mile away. There's a shop and a pub there. For a proper market town, Helmsley is about four miles. Pickering is about seven miles.
The North York Moors are right there for walking. The North York Moors National Park site has good maps. For the coast, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby are about a 45 minute drive. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs from Pickering to Whitby.
If you want to go further, York is under 40 minutes by car.
