Wren Lodge is near Nawton, just outside Helmsley. It's one of four lodges on a quiet site. The lodges are detached and you've got your own patio and garden. They look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. The bathroom has just a shower. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there, but it's not high-end.
The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's WiFi. Bedding and towels come with it. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
There's a pub about a quarter of a mile up the lane. It's good for a meal. A farm shop and café is a mile away. Helmsley is three miles. It's a nice market town with a castle and an open-air swimming pool in summer.
You're on the edge of the North York Moors here. For days out, Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are within ten miles. Pickering is about seven miles away for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The coast at Scarborough is about a 40-minute drive. York is roughly 25 miles, so less than an hour by car.
