Robin Lodge
Robin Lodge is what it is. It's one of a few similar places on a quiet site near Nawton. The site's friendly, but it's very peaceful. You've got your own garden, or verandah they call it, and it looks out over fields. It's detached, so you won't be sharing walls.
It's a ground floor place. Two bedrooms, sleeps four, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable. It's open plan inside, which is useful if you've got kids or just want to chat while someone's cooking.
There's a pub not far, about a quarter of a mile. A decent fish and chip shop and a restaurant are about the same distance. There's a farm shop and cafe selling local stuff half a mile away. They do good breakfasts.
You're about three miles from Helmsley. Nice market town, has a castle and an outdoor pool in summer. Kirkbymoorside is about the same distance the other way.
Loads to do within a short drive. Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are well under half an hour. The North York Moors Railway at Pickering is about 15 minutes. Flamingo Land and Eden Camp are close too, if that's your thing. You can be in York in 40 minutes or so for the Minster and the Railway Museum. The coast at Scarborough is about 40 minutes by car.
For facilities: you get WiFi, parking right by the lodge, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
