Robin Lodge is one of two lodges on a small site near Nawton. There are three other similar places here too. It's quiet. The site feels friendly.
It's detached and sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy.
You get a verandah. It looks out over fields. It's a good spot to sit.
There's a pub about a quarter of a mile down the lane. A farm shop and café is a mile away. They sell local stuff.
Kirkbymoorside is three miles one way, Helmsley is three miles the other. Helmsley has a castle and an open air pool in summer. You're on the edge of the North York Moors. Walking and cycling starts from the door.
Rievaulx Abbey and Castle Howard are within 20 minutes by car. Pickering, with the steam railway, is about 15 minutes away. York is roughly 25 miles, so about 45 minutes in the car. Scarborough is about 40 minutes' drive if you want the seaside.
Facilities: there's an open plan living area, WiFi, parking right outside, and a garden patio. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
